The 2008 Music and Dance Workshops will feature
the traditional music and dance of Western Coastal Norway with Norwegian
master teachers:

Hardanger fiddle will also be taught by Americans Rebecca Lofft,
Karen Solgård,
and Dan Trueman. There will also be

Membership Brochure Now Available!
The
HFAA recently produced a revised edition of its Membership Brochure.
This colorful pamphlet describes the history and lore surrounding
the Hardanger fiddle and the HFAA's role in promoting its music and
dance in America. It also includes an application form.

AmeriKappleik
Live! A Hardanger Fiddle Celebration
The
HFAA has produced a two-CD set of the best of our five-day music
and dance festival held in the summer of 2003, called AmeriKappleik.
The CD includes performances by Hauk Buen, Leif Rygg, Vidar Lande,
Torgeir Straand, as well as new compositions for the Hardanger
fiddle and two dance videos. Click here for
