Housing at Folklore Village

Most workshop attendees stay on-site at Folklore Village, either in tents or in non-air-conditioned bunkhouses (one for men, one for women) where space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign up for a bunkhouse space or tent site for during the workshop when you register. You will be notified if bunkhouses fill up so that other options can be considered. Showers (25 cents for five minutes / quarters only) are available in the main hall. (To reserve bunkhouse space for Wednesday night before the workshop, call Folklore Village direct at 608-924-4000. The bunkhouses are not available on Sunday night.) Attendees not staying at Folklore Village must make their own local hotel/motel reservations. Some of the places listed below offer discount rates if you mention Folklore Village.
